Destination Melbourne (Florida, not Australia)

The countdown to Florida has begun, Squiggums and I leave logan around quarter of seven on Thursday. I'm quite excited, as I've never been to Florida before. I've never really thought of Florida as any place special. It's in the south, they voted for Bush two times in a row, and its home to a bunch of elderly people, how exciting can it be. That said, I've never really put it on my list of places to never go, i.e Texas. Melbourne is located on the Atlantic coast, south of Cape Canaveral and about an hour south east of Orlando. It should be fun nonetheless because I'll be spending the week with Chris.

Madonna fell off her horse today, on her 47th birthday of all days, and cracked a few ribs, and broke her collar bone as well as her hand. I hope that she recovers quite quickly. She is on the cover of this months edition of VOGUE, and has the featured article about her fabulous life. She also has a new album coming out in November called Confessions on a Dancefloor. The single debuts in October, and she also has a new documentary coming out this fall as well. I also hear that she will be touring next summer, could I get so lucky as to see her again, time will only tell. I expect everyone to wish her a speedy recovery.
